Throughout this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to x3 Branding, and we act as the data controller responsible for any personal data collected through this website. What data we collect

We collect personal data in a few different ways. When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include in your message. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. In addition, some data is collected automatically when you visit the site — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you interact with the site — through cookies and similar technologies, which we explain in more detail in our Cookie Policy.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about your request or project, to send you our newsletter where you’ve subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time), to understand how visitors use our website so we can keep improving it, and to measure how well our marketing and advertising perform. Where the law requires us to, we also use it to meet our legal obligations.

Legal basis for processing

Under the GDPR, we rely on a few different legal bases depending on the situation. We rely on your consent for the newsletter, for non-essential cookies, and for marketing — and you can withdraw that consent whenever you like. We rely on legitimate interest when responding to your enquiries and improving our website and services. And we rely on legal obligation where we’re required by law to keep certain records.

Sharing your data

We never sell your personal data. We do, however, share it with a small number of trusted third-party services that help us run our website and business. These include Google, for website analytics and advertising; Meta (Facebook), for advertising and remarketing; our email and newsletter provider, to send you communications you’ve subscribed to; and our hosting provider, which stores the website and its data. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, and where that happens, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place to protect it.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as it’s needed. Contact enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe; and analytics data is kept in line with the retention periods set in our analytics tools. Once those periods pass, data is either deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have a number of rights over your personal data. You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and to request that your data be deleted. You can object to or ask us to restrict how we process your data, withdraw your consent at any time, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. If you ever feel your data isn’t being handled properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).
